If you ordered your stickers before January 31st at 4:30 PM PST your stickers should have arrived by now unless you live somewhere in far off land (defined as somewhere overseas from the United States). If you ordered them more recently than the evening of the 31st until yesterday afternoon 2 PM PST you stickers will ship out tomorrow morning.

If that doesn’t make since this should.

February 12th 2:01 PST (Your stickers will not ship until the 20th or so).

At this point the sticker sales are slowing down heavily so we are going to be shipping them just a couple of more times before we cut the final check to Rory. The absolute final batch of stickers will be going out on March 12th, so if you are waiting until the last minute to make your purchase please do so BEFORE March 10th is done. We will be removing the shopping cart functionality of the sticker sales at that point. That is PLENTY of time to get your stickers and we really don’t want anyone to be upset with on that date. So if you want stickers, get them in the next few weeks.

So far stickers have shipped to the following countries: United States, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Australia, Poland, United Kingdom, France, New Zealand, Norway, Italy, Switzerland, Chile, Finland, Sweeden, Japan, Spain, Argentina, China, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark.

We have raised over $16,000 so far!!! It couldn’t have happened with out the love and support of Sarah’s fans, our friends, and of course Sticker Pack and Michelle Parker.

We wanted to make a video so the world could see a little bit of the process. We also wanted to make our own tribute even though we don’t have any Sarah footage to work with, obviously we had to be a little creative to do so. This is what we came up with.

We are going to run the project until we hit $15,000. At that point we will be discontinuing the stickers unless some other people want to step up and lend a hand. This has been a wonderful project to be a part of but it is time for us all to move on to the next one.

In addition to the musicians that we highlighted a thank you is in order to Nick Rice. Nick went to college with Danny and manages a company called 1 band 1 brand. His company was able to help us acquire three very key tracks to the video including the songs “Power Happy” “Winter Beats” and “Truth.” Nick wanted to help out on this project because “Danny’s story is truly inspirational. It touched so many people in many different ways. It was super rad to be a part of this project not only to help spread the word about a true homie, but to generate awareness about safety prevention.”

Nick explains that 1 Band 1 Brand’s “ultimate objective is to introduce emerging bands and brands to the world to help them take off. Although we have our own Web platform, 1band1brand.com, it’s great when we can expand our distribution channels to include complementary companies like Shreddy Times. We help you score cool music and you help bands we love get noticed by a broader audience. It’s a win-win.”

For those of you who are wondering where your stickers are, we sent our first batch of envelopes out on Monday. As you can see, Michelle had more than her hands full when she took on this task – Michelle could barely reach the mail slot! A year ago in January I sat next to Danny for 33 days in the hospital hoping that he would get better. This January, we celebrated his return to snow and today we released his movie, “Moving Forward.” For the past couple of weeks we’ve been sitting behind the computer editing his movie and I couldn’t help, but to be brought back to the hospital sitting by Danny’s side every day as we worked on the video. When I heard about Sarah’s injury, my heart nearly broke through my chest as it swelled with emotion. Reliving those long days and endless nights in the hospital, as I thought about her every day, reminded me of the fragility of life.

When I posted Danny’s video to my facebook wall this morning, I wanted it to bring hope to everyone who was thinking about Sarah. Danny certainly gave me hope, but I knew deep down that not everyone recovers as well as Danny has.

Sarah was a true pioneer for this sport that I am so incredibly passionate about. I owe a lot to her as she helped pave the way for so many more and me. Who knows if I would have had all of these amazing opportunities if it weren’t for Sarah. She was driven, enthusiastic, strong willed, a hard worker, and my hero.

In memory of Sarah and as a small thanks to how she has inspired me I came up with an idea to sell stickers to help raise money for her fund. Sticker Pack has generously donated thousands of stickers. Kaya Turski created the sticker design. ALL of the proceeds made from these stickers will go to Sarah’s outstanding medical costs and related expenses through her husband, Rory Bushfield.

With the momentum that we have gained from the release of Danny’s movie and the similarities of Sarah’s injury to Danny’s, Shreddy Times has been kind enough to set up an online store. Each sticker cost $5.00. The price of the envelope and stamp comes to 47 cents. Each sticker bought will donate $4.53 to Sarah’s fund.
