Other than snowboarding, what makes you happiest in life?
Getting on my cruzer bike and mobbing around town with my friends in the summer. Easy living. I like to take stress out of the equation. Either that, or sitting on the beach of lake tahoe with a good book…nothing like intellectual stimulation.
What are 5 things on your "Bucket List"?
1. Skydiving is a must
2. Bungi Jumping
3. Heliboarding in AK

What trick do you know you do too often? What’s the problem why can’t you get over it?
I like the rodeo 5. I can do rodeo 7′s, but the rodeo 5 is a saftey trick. Landing switch is easier for me becuase i collapsed the arch of my left foot(rear leg, i am goofy) so landing switch is easier…Maby i should go rodeo 9.
Where was the coolest place you have ever been? What was cool about it?
7 Sacred pools in Maui. You could jump from pool to pool over waterfalls. SO ILL.
If you could spend 1 hour with any person in the world who would it be? Why?
Probably my Dad, I never see him, and it would be nice to catch up with him. He has a good outlook on overall world systems and is a very interesting person to talk to.
Describe a perfect day of snowboarding?
Wake up a little earlier. Brew a pot of coffee, cook 2 eggs, over hard on a piece of whole wheat toast. Drive to mountain, 2ft of fresh(28 degrees so the snow is not heavy). Slay powder all morning, cliff drops, natural rolers, ect….then roll to park…. Park is perfectly groomed. One 30ft down rail, then a 30ft, 40, 50 and 60 footer in a row…all true tables(no step downs). Then end off the line with one 80ft step over….not to poppy, good for tryin doubles….Go home…Call the ladies…and hit up the hot tub…YEA SON.
Who has been the most influential person in your life?
My dad. I see how hard he works in his job, and how far he pushes sports. Although I am not persuing the sport he likes the most and he was always at work when I was a child, my drive and dedication is strongly influenced by his model.
Favorite snowboarder other than yourself?
Eero Etalla, sickest X games run ever (2010 Slopestyle). I look up to people who are in there mid to late 20′s still slaying it. It gives me hope.
What was the coolest moment of your entire life so far?
Trying my first double in the park in 2009-2010 season and not dieing. It was the craziest feeling of exiliration ever!! Cheating out on death.

Where would you like to snowboard that you have not yet been?
New Zealand, Japan, Alaska, and the Alps
What’s the coolest thing that your snowboard career has done for you?
Allowed me to travel around the U.S. and Canada and experience different cultures. Even within the U.S. and Canada, the amount of culture is diverse and people in different places interact with each other differently. Meeting new people and having a dynamic lifestyle keeps life worth living.
What’s the worst injury that you have ever sustained? How it happened?
Collapsed the arch of my left foot. I was out hitting a backcountry kicker and missed the pocket of pow to land in. Ended up landing on solid ice and my ankle strap of my binding collapsed my arch. Very painful, and the recovery time was close to 8 months. My left ankle still gives me trouble when I land wrong and that was about 3 seasons ago.
What is the most ridiculous thing that you thought you would be when you grew up?
A firefighter. When you’re a little kid, you always see cartoons of valiant firefighters, and that seemed like the cool thing to be.
If you were trapped on an island for the rest of your life and you could only have one thing what would it be?
Unlimited supply of pita pit. Pita pit is so dank.
